Pregnancy Problem House is an independent, tax-deductible charity providing free, compassionate care for WA teens, women, couples, and families who are struggling because of unintended pregnancy, unsupported early parenting, and/or unresolved reproductive loss, including miscarriage and termination. Our personalised services include individual and couples counselling, individual and group mentoring, maternity and baby resources, and community connections. Our generous, life-affirming assistance is provided by an exceptional team who offer holistic care for the long-term wellbeing of our clients.

Ongoing donors are crucial to our long-term services as they help us keep our promise to be there for our clients and their families as long as we’re needed. Donation Policies
Living Alternatives Ltd. t/a Pregnancy Problem House is Public Benevolent Institution, registered with the Australian Charities and Not For Profit Commission, ABN 18 028 448 240, ACN 603 907 071, WA Charitable Collections License CC 22012. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Donations received from regional areas are first applied to the operating costs of the local centre. All other donations received directly fund our work in Perth and around WA including management and administration support for all Pregnancy Problem House centres.
Please note all donations are in Australian dollars (AUD$). Also, please give thought when selecting the donation amount, as once you have made a donation to our organisation we do not give refunds if you change your mind.
We appreciate in-kind donations of quality maternity and baby gear as well as items that could be utilised in our centres (office furniture, computers etc) and items that could be offered as prizes at fundraising events. All in-kind donations must be in new or like-new condition, clean and/or freshly laundered, of good quality and in working order. This helps our volunteers to quickly process items and have them ready to use or distribute.
While members of the public are welcome to visit our centres, out of respect for our clients’ privacy, we prefer that visits are by appointment only, including to drop off in-kind donations. Please carefully check the In-kind Donation Guidelines for the suitability of the items you wish to donate, and then contact us for confirmation that we need those items at the moment, so that we can arrange a suitable time for you to bring them to us.
